DVD Production

A DVD production of any kind is a video production that has been divided up into chapters on a menu, the way a movie on a DVD might be divided into segments.
DVD productions have a broad appeal for the fact that the information or presentation can be stopped at logical points to make room for discussion or revision. A DVD production is the perfect format for training material, proposals and presentations.

A DVD does not really refer to the style but rather the format of any particular video. There are some (like training) that better lend themselves to being cut up into chapters. On the whole though, just about any video can be segmented and put on to a DVD with a user-friendly menu.

· A DVD presentation has menu options. This means that in training session or a presentation, chapters
  can be called up when needed and not necessarily in sequence.
· A DVD production makes it possible to put a lot of unrelated information in one video. This is handy for
  videos that contain an intrinsically complicated amount of information like induction or orientation
  videos.
