Making Complex Hazards Visible Through a 3D-Animated Electrical Safety Training Video

Building a clear learning journey
The subject matter covered several layers of technical information, from the physiological effects of electrical current to macroshock, microshock, leakage currents, grounding systems and equipment testing. Presenting every concept with equal visual weight would have made the video difficult to follow.
Our approach was therefore guided by the progression of the learning. The video begins with the effects of electricity on the human body before moving into the two primary categories of shock hazard. Once viewers understand the risks, the content shifts naturally towards prevention through power distribution, equipment design and routine electrical testing.

Translating invisible risks into visual explanations
One of the central production challenges was that electrical current cannot ordinarily be seen. Several of the most important processes also take place inside the body or within medical equipment, making them difficult to demonstrate through conventional filming.

Our role was to identify the purpose of each concept and determine the clearest way to represent it on screen. This meant deciding when a clinical scenario would add context, when an anatomical view would improve understanding and when a simplified diagram would communicate more effectively than a realistic environment.

Moving from hazard awareness to prevention
